This free online event brings together regulatory, academic and industrial speakers to stimulate discussion on the challenges and opportunities for researchers, industry and government. There are two thematic sessions on consequences of the drive to recycle plastics.  The first covers micro-plastics in the environment, their toxicology and associated risk assessment.  The second explores the complex issue of the toxicological significance of chemical migration from recycled plastics in food contact materials.

This is a stakeholder workshop to explore the challenge of plastic litter and littering to explore where research, innovation and investment could deliver positive change.

This free event will bring together stakeholders from academia, industry, regulatory, government and non-government organisations to discuss the current challenges surrounding plastic litter and littering and to identify what is needed to address this economic, environmental, and societal challenge.

The Plastics Live exhibition and conference is a new annual event for the plastics sector in the UK and Ireland, taking place 5th - 6th July in Coventry. It will redefine the way business and networking is conducted for anyone who manufactures in plastics today. Plastics Live is scheduled to run in the UK in 2022 and 2023 and will then run in Ireland in 2024. Plastics Live will enable broad-based business opportunities with movers and shakers from all parts of the plastics-based industries. UKCPN's Dr. Sally Beken will be speaking at the event.

Materials Research Exchange (MRE) 2022 will be taking place 3rd – 5th October 2022 and will be delivered as face to face with potential virtual add-on for selected seminars. The event is organised and run by KTN and Innovate UK, taking place at the Business Design Centre in London and will be full of new insights about what materials research and innovations are taking place to help the UK recover, become more resilient and grow.
