Biodegradable or plastic alternatives for Mangrove swamp regeneration

Mangrove restoration in Ghana

We are currently working with an organisation who are carrying out mangrove restoration in Ghana.
They are looking for alternatives to the plastic bags they use for growing trees in their nursery and then transplanting the seedlings into coastal regions.
If you have a marine-safe alternative which could be used in the nursery and then would safely degrade following transplantation then we are keen to hear from you.
Please contact Denise Goldsmith with any enquiries.
