Towards More Sustainable Use of Plastics in Healthcare
Ahead of the Global Research & Innovation in Plastics Sustainability (GRIPS) online conference, exhibition and showcase taking place on 15th – 17th March 2022, Innovate UK KTN's Matt Chapman looks at some of the issues around the use of plastics in healthcare, what new approaches are already being put in place and how businesses can work towards more sustainable solutions.
2050 PACKAGING MATERIAL DEMAND PROJECT : What will the packaging material demand look like in the next 30 years?
Valpak and Oakdene Hollins have been commissioned by the UKRI Innovate UK Transforming Foundation Industry challenge to undertake research aimed at developing foresight into what material requirements the UK packaging industry might have in the next 30 years. We invite thought leaders and experts working across the packaging supply chain (including manufacturers, packer-fillers, product brands and retailers) to participate in this survey and help develop a foresight into the 2050 futures of packaging material demand.
